This eight-day itinerary covers the essential Nepal triangle. You start with Kathmandu heritage, catch sunrise at Nagarkot, enjoy the lakes and mountains of Pokhara, and finish with jungle activities in Chitwan before returning to Kathmandu.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu arrival
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu and Patan sightseeing, drive to Nagarkot
Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square with a guide. In the late afternoon, drive to Nagarkot for sunset. Overnight in Nagarkot.
Day 3: Nagarkot sunrise, Bhaktapur, drive to Pokhara
Wake early for sunrise from Nagarkot. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, then continue to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 4: Sarangkot sunrise and Pokhara sightseeing
Drive to Sarangkot before dawn for mountain views. After breakfast, visit David’s Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, the International Mountain Museum, and take a boat ride on Phewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 5: Drive to Chitwan and Tharu village tour
Leave Pokhara and drive to Chitwan National Park. In the late afternoon, visit a Tharu village and watch the sunset over the Terai. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 6: Full-day jungle safari
Spend the day on safari with options including a jeep safari, canoe ride on the Rapti River, guided nature walk, and evening Tharu cultural dance. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu. Free evening for a final walk in Thamel or a farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 8: Airport departure transfer
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.
