What this journey covers
This nine-day circuit starts in Kathmandu, heads to Nagarkot for a Himalayan sunrise, crosses to Pokhara via Manakamana, then drops to Chitwan for wildlife before returning to Kathmandu. It is a balanced mix of culture, mountains, and jungle.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing
Visit the key UNESCO sites of Kathmandu Valley with a local guide. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Bhaktapur and Nagarkot sunset
Drive to Bhaktapur for a morning walk through the medieval squares, then continue to Nagarkot for sunset. Overnight in Nagarkot.
Day 4: Nagarkot sunrise and drive to Pokhara
Wake early for sunrise from Nagarkot viewpoint. After breakfast, drive to Pokhara with a possible stop at Manakamana. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 5: Sarangkot sunrise and Pokhara city
Drive to Sarangkot before dawn, then visit David’s Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, the mountain museum, and Phewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 6: Drive to Chitwan
Leave Pokhara and drive to Chitwan. In the evening, join the Tharu village tour and cultural program. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 7: Full-day Chitwan jungle safari
Enjoy a full day of jungle activities, including jeep safari, canoe ride, nature walk, and evening Tharu dance. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 8: Drive to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu by road. Free evening for shopping or a final dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 9: Departure transfer
Transfer to the airport for your flight.
