What this hike covers
Jamacho Peak is inside Nagarjuna Forest Reserve, northwest of Kathmandu. The trail is a steady climb through quiet forest to a small stupa at 2,188 metres. From the top, you look down over the city and the surrounding hills.

Itinerary
- 07:30 AM: Hotel pickup and 20-minute drive to the Fulbari / Balaju checkpost.
- 08:15 AM – 12:00 PM: Hike through dense Nagarjuna forest trails up to the Jamacho Stupa. Have a packed lunch with bird's-eye views.
- 12:00 PM – 02:30 PM: Descend back down the forested path.
- 02:30 PM – 03:30 PM: Evening pickup at the base and return to the hotel.
