Overview
What this experience covers
The Mountain Flight Experience is the easiest way to see Mount Everest without trekking for two weeks. The flight leaves Kathmandu’s domestic terminal early in the morning and flies east along the Himalayas. Every passenger gets a window seat, and in about an hour you pass Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Cho Oyu, Pumori, and finally Everest.
Most airlines invite visitors into the cockpit for photographs. The crew hands out a peak map and names each mountain as it appears. You land back in Kathmandu with a commemorative flight certificate and a set of photos that rarely need a filter.

Check in at the Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, or Shree Airlines counter. Security and boarding are quick on domestic flights.
07:00 AM: Mountain flight departs
