What this journey covers
This motorbike expedition traces the classic route from Kathmandu to the sacred Muktinath Temple and back. You ride the Prithvi Highway to Pokhara, then turn north into the Kali Gandaki valley, following off-road tracks through Tatopani, Marpha, and Jomsom before climbing to the 108 holy water spouts at Muktinath.

Itinerary
- Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara Ride roughly 200 kilometres along the Prithvi Highway, winding through terraced hills and river valleys. Reach Pokhara by late afternoon and unwind near Phewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.
- Day 2: Pokhara to Tatopani Cover about 110 kilometres to Tatopani. Beyond Beni the road becomes an off-road track beside the Kali Gandaki. Pause at waterfalls and suspension bridges, then soak in the natural hot springs. Overnight in Tatopani.
- Day 3: Tatopani to Muktinath via Marpha and Jomsom Ride roughly 65 kilometres through the Kali Gandaki Gorge. Pass Marpha, known for apples and clean white lanes, then cross windy Jomsom before climbing to Muktinath. Visit the temple and bathe beneath the 108 holy spouts. Overnight in Muktinath or Kagbeni.
- Day 4: Muktinath / Kagbeni to Tatopani Descend through Kagbeni and Jomsom with views of Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Enjoy an optional second soak in the Tatopani hot springs. Overnight in Tatopani.
- Day 5: Tatopani to Pokhara Retrace the off-road trail to Beni, then cruise back to Pokhara. Celebrate the journey with dinner in Lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.
- Day 6: Pokhara to Kathmandu Ride the Prithvi Highway back to Kathmandu. Return the bike and end the trip at your hotel.
